User Notes On NST Patches:
- Each patch ID shown above is a link to the detailed patch README
description file.
- If the patch type is "patch" then the patch will
typically correct a known problem on your NST probe system. If the
patch type is "update" then the patch will provide
an enhancement on your NST probe system.
- You should always be able to apply patches to a NST hard disk
installation. You can only apply patches to a Live NST CD/DVD
boot if you see "yes"
next to the "Live CD/DVD Install" label.
- The patch ID nomenclature is defined as: "TYYYYMMDDP-VVV"
where "T" indicates the patch type: 'P' - patch or
'U' - update, "YYYY" indicates the 4 digit year", "MM"
indicates the 2 digit month, "DD" indicates the 2 digit day,
"P" indicates the patch number for the day and "VVV"
indicates the current patch version.
