Tool	Description
	This page includes instruction on using the https://www.networksecuritytoolkit.org/nst/tools/ip.shtml service to keep track of your network's IP address as it appears to the rest of the Internet.
IP Address.com	Another site to easily determine your external IP address.
	The JavaScript Information page displays generic information about the JavaScript interpreter used by your web browser (it can be a handy reference when writing JavaScript code).
PHP Subnet Calculator	A simple yet very easy to use subnet calculator.
	The Shields UP!! utility at the Gibson Research Corporation site (http://grc.com/) provides Internet base port scanning (very handy if you need to check your firewall). Unfortunately, its a bit cumbersome to click your way to the Shields UP!! utility.
Nmap Online	This web site provides a front-end to nmap and allows one to scan their system (as it appears to the Internet at large). One may choose to wait for the results of the scan, or alternatively, have the results mailed to them.
	DShield.org is an attempt to collect data about cracker activity from all over the internet. This data will be cataloged and summarized. It can be used to discover trends in activity and prepare better firewall rules.
	AntiOnline (AO) is a worldwide community of security, network and computer professionals, students and keen amateurs who come here to learn the principles and details of computer/network security. AO is a place where the community share their knowledge to help the others learn and where people assist each other with identifying and mitigating security issues as they pertain to the many real life situations faced by us all. This site provides access to a graphical IP Locator tool.
Ethernet Manufacturer Lookup	The Vendor/Ethernet MAC Address Lookup and Search page provides a nice simple interface for looking up the manufacturer of a particular Ethernet card based upon its MAC address.
	The Internet Traffic Report site (http://www.internettrafficreport.com/) provides a score (with a 100 being the best) of how well the Internet is performing.
	A site (http://www.whois.net/) that provides Internet based whois lookups.
Networking Calculators	A web based set of calculators for working with IP addresses and peforming subnet calculations.
JFtp	The JFtp project at http://j-ftp.sourceforge.net/ provides a Java based FTP client (and more: SFTP, SMB, NFS, WebDAV) which can be launched via Java Web Start. If your browser is Java Web Start enabled you can click on the icon on the left to start it.
	The Columba project at http://columba.sourceforge.net/ provides a Java based email client which can be launched as a standard Java applications, or via Java Web Start. If your browser is Java Web Start enabled you can click on the icon on the left to start it.
	The Pooka project at http://pooka.sourceforge.net/ provides a Java based email client which can be launched as a standard Java applications, or via Java Web Start. If your browser is Java Web Start enabled you can click on the icon on the left to start it.
	The Laffey Computer Imaging whatmask utility provides a nice summary of information given a input in the form of IP/MASK (like 192.168.0.2/24).
	The W3C Markup Validation Service (at http://validator.w3.org/) performs a VERY STRICT validation check on a HTML page.
