Figure 5.3, “Mobile Wireless Monitoring” demonstrats a configuration for a notebook computer running NST to monitor 802.11 wireless networks.
This configuration is desirable for running the Kismet wireless network sniffer. Graphical maps can be produced with the addition of a GPS navigational device. All data capture can be archived via the attached USB Thumb Drive.
