Secure Virtual Computing With Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP)

Two NST probes can be configured for a VPN that tunnels the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) between a Terminal Services Server and a Microsoft Terminal Service Client (mstsc) across the public Internet. Figure 7.2, “Secure Virtual Computing With Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP)” demonstrates a user at the Corporate Headquarter Site A running both a desktop session on a Windows XP Professional System and a Terminal Services session running Microsoft Word on a Windows Server 2003 which are both located at the remote Satellite Office Site B.

Note that in this configuration NST probe A is allowing connections to the RDP VPN tunnels. This is accomplish by specifiying the "-g" command line option to the ssh command.
